How does the free trial work?
Sign up with just your email (no credit card needed) and get 100,000 tokens free. That's enough to analyze several documents, generate presentations, and chat with the AI tutor. When you run out, you can upgrade to Pro or use BYOK.
What is BYOK (Bring Your Own Key)?
BYOK lets you use your own Gemini API key. You get unlimited access to Fidus, and Google bills you directly for API usage. Great for developers and power users who want full control.
What's the difference between monthly and yearly billing?
Yearly billing gives you a 20% discount. For Pro, that's $15.20/month (billed as $182.40/year) instead of $19/month. For Ultra, it's $95.20/month (billed as $1,142.40/year) instead of $119/month.
What happens when I run out of tokens?
You'll be notified when you're running low. Once depleted, AI features pause until your next billing cycle or you upgrade. Your documents and data remain accessible.
How are images counted?
Each AI-generated image equals 13,000 tokens. So with the Pro plan's 1M tokens, you could generate approximately 77 images (if you used all tokens just for images).
Can I switch plans anytime?
Absolutely. Upgrade or downgrade anytime through your account settings. Changes take effect on your next billing cycle.
