Fidus uses your browser's local storage (IndexedDB and localStorage) to store your documents, preferences, and generated content locally on your device. This data remains on your device and is not transmitted to our servers unless you explicitly choose to sync or share.

  • Processing your documents and generating study materials
  • Improving and optimizing our Service

AI Processing

Our Service uses artificial intelligence to process documents and generate educational content. When AI processing occurs:

  • Local Processing: Text-to-speech and some features run entirely in your browser using local AI models.

In these cases, your content is sent to these services for processing. We recommend not uploading sensitive or confidential documents for features that require cloud processing.
  • No Training: We do not use your personal documents to train AI models.
